Congregation Bet Haverim and AJMF present a concert of Sephardic Jewish music, from its medieval Spanish and Mediterranean roots, to contemporary jazz explorations, led by jazz pianist David Marcus. An international musical ensemble of violin, oud, guitar, accordion, bass, piano, percussion, and singers presents new arrangements of these ancient melodies from Jewish communities in Greece, Turkey, and the Mediterranean. CBH Musicians, guitarist Will Robertson , violinist Sarah Zaslaw , bassist Jordan Dayan and vocalist Gayanne Geurin join Palestinian oudist Suheil Sedran and Turkish percussionist Emrah Kotan, under the musical direction of David Marcus.
